MXGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP, ROUNDS 1 & 2

UPDATE FOR RAPTOR TITANIUM SPONSORED TEAMS AND RIDERS FROM OPENING ROUNDS OF 2013 MXGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

MX1

KTM Red Bull Factory Racing Team continue to assert dominance over the World Championship with back-to-back GP wins for Tony Cairoli in MX1 and Jeff Herlings in MX2.

The season kicked off last weekend in Qatar with impressive performances from Kawasaki Racing Team and Raptor Titanium sponsored MX1 rider Gautier Paulin who got 3rd overall in Qatar and improved on that yesterday in Thailand with an overall 2nd to keep him in the hunt behind Desalle and Cairoli.

Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Tommy Searle put in two consistent overall 5th's in his fledging MX1 outings, showing his speed and ability to challenge with the top riders in the premier class.

MX2

In the 250 class it's all about one rider as Jeff Herlings completely dominates the opening two rounds in comfortable style, even managing a 4th place finish in the combined super final at Thailand yesterday!

Monster Energy Yamaha and Raptor Titanium sponsored rider Dean Ferris has shown his potential with solid 5th place finishes in both MX2 GP races.

The series now goes back to Europe at legendary Dutch track Valkensvaard on Easter weekend. See you there!
