More atrocious conditions than ever were the backdrop for this year's Ezberg Rodeo Extreme Enduro as snow and heavy rain created a near-impossible course for the riders to negotiate, making the world's toughest one-day race even tougher!
It was D3 Husaberg and our sponsored rider Graham Jarvis who prevailed after providing a master-class in how to overcome such difficult terrain, picking off the competition one-by-one from a less-than-ideal gate position to leave nobody in doubt he was definitely this year's deserving champion after several years of bad luck on the Iron Giant.
Raptor Titanium sponsored rider Jonny Walker on the Factory KTM Off Road Racing machine could not have had a more different day, and after a convincing win in 2012 he was certainly the favourite to clinch it again this weekend. Off the start he hit deep water where his bike was drowned for over five minutes, and with it his chances of catching the leading pack. Though a disappointing result for Walker after he coveted the win, fourth is still an excellent achievement against such demanding obstacles.
