Another all Raptor Titanium rider podium in the 250 Lites class with a win for Justin Barcia, second for Ken Roczen and third for Blake Wharton

250 Lites East Main Event

Both Raptor Titanium sponsored riders Justin Barcia from Geico Honda and Ken Roczen from KTM Red Bull USA were battling from the first corner as Barcia got the holeshot but was quickly edged out by Roczen before the second turn. Pro Circuit Kawasaki's Darryn Durham was in third, with Raptor Titanium sponsored rider and the previous weekend's winner Blake Wharton having a good start in fourth place.

Barcia pressured Roczen into a mistake on lap three and took the lead, with Wharton battling with Darryn Durham for the third place spot. However the intense dicing led to a coming together of the two riders and they were passed by Honda's Alex Martin, before regrouping and overtaking him again after a few corners.

Barcia was uncatchable in the end with a return to the frightening form we have seen him in all season and took the victory comfortably, with Roczen in second, Wharton in third and Raptor Titanium sponsored rider Jake Canada of Motoconcepts in fourth.

Ken Roczen

Justin Barcia, Ken Roczen and Blake Wharton make up the second all Raptor Titanium sponsored rider podium of the 2012 season in the 250 Lites Class

450 Supercross Main Event

With Raptor Titanium's Ryan Dungey out, as well as next points contender James Stewart sidelined, it was a golden opportunity for the the 2011 double champion Ryan Villopoto to extend his points lead, and one that he didn't pass up.

It was the factory Honda of Justin Brayton that sprinted into the lead in the opening lap, but Villopoto had soon passed him and from there, despite a near crash which he managed to recover, never looked like losing.

It was, however, another fantastic ride for Raptor Titanium sponsored rider Kevin Windham of Geico Honda, who capitalized on mistakes by some of the others in the mix and managed a truly impressive third place. KTM Red Bull USA and Raptor Titanium's Marvin Musquin seems to be well and truly settling into the main class now as he took another very good result with a sixth in the Supercross Main Event!

Villopoto now extends his points lead to an almost unassailable 79 points, however with five rounds still to go, anything can and usually does happen in Supercross!
