KTM RED BULL EXTENDS POINTS LEAD IN MX1 AND MX2 CHAMPIONSHIPS AT ROUND 11 IN RUSSIA, RAPTOR TITANIUM SPONSORED RIDER MEL POCOCK GETS ANOTHER PERFECT SCORE IN THE EMX CLASS

Crowds flocked to Round 11 of the FIM World MX Championship at Semigorje last weekend as the sun shined for a day of great racing.

Raptor Titanium sponsored rider Mel Pocock of Bike It Cosworth Monster Energy Yamaha got things off to a good start for British fans as he swept both motos to go 1-1 overall for another impressive performance in the EMX 250 class.

MX2

Jeff Herlings of the Factory KTM Red Bull squad extended his points tally this weekend, going 49 points ahead of Raptor Titanium sponsored Floride Pro Circuit Monster Energy Kawasaki Brit Tommy Searle, who was at a major disadvantage after a poor qualifying race put him right on the outside of the pack at the start of both races, but put in impressive performances in both races, scoring 3-2 overall result to take overall 2nd to limit the damage of a charging Herlings as much as possible, nevertheless this is a big blow for Tommy's title hopes and will be looking for plenty of race wins in the next few rounds, particularly at his home GP at Matterley Basin in mid-August.

Fellow Raptor Titanium sponsored rider Joel Roelants, who took the overall win in Latvia last weekend, took overall 4th with a 5-4 result behind KTM Red Bull man Jeremy Van Horebeek in 3rd. Raptor Titanium man Arnaud Tonus had a consistent day as he comes back from injury to take 7th overall on the day.

Below Cairoli on the podium were Clement Desalle in 2nd with a 3-2 result for the day and Ken De Dycker in 3rd with a 2-3 result.
